From Our Founder
I’m David, and this is Bailey. Like many guardians, I started out believing “good” kibble was enough. But over time, I could feel that my pets deserved more than just meeting the minimum. I began cooking their meals, learning about organ meats, eggs, and better ingredients — and I watched their energy, comfort, and joy change in ways I couldn’t ignore.
The problem was never just finding better food. It was protecting the integrity of that food once it left the kitchen or the farm. I wanted a way to make nutrient-conscious feeding easier, cleaner, and more trustworthy — without asking people to overhaul their entire routine.
Natty Nootz was created to solve that gap: carefully sourced, minimalist recipes, protected through thoughtful preservation and violet glass, so what you open at home still reflects the care that went into making it.

Natty Nootz started at home — with real dogs and cats who inspired us to do better than “good enough” nutrition. These are the faces behind the jars, and the reason we obsess over every detail.
The Liver Lover (Eventually)
Bailey is one of the original reasons Natty Nootz exists. She refused fresh liver on her raw diet, despite needing its nutrients. Freeze-dried organic liver became the solution — now she won’t eat a meal without Natty Nootz on top.
The Sensitive Soul
Bailey’s best friend and the sweetest shadow. Walter struggled with sensitivity and trial-and-error diets until whole foods and Natty Nootz helped bring balance. He’s now confident, calm, and very food motivated.
The Comeback Queen
Once a frequent hospital visitor due to stomach and food issues, Jasmine now thrives on organic whole foods supported by Natty Nootz. She proudly monitors the neighborhood from the window and announces every visitor.
